Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Rumpelstiltskin AI at www.rumpelstiltskin-ai.com (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them, including the acceptable use policy in section 7, and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. What the Service does

The Service puts a dancing little man into a background you choose. You pick one of his moves and give us a photo, a video of 30 seconds or less, or one of our sample backgrounds. We place him onto your background and show you a free preview that is short, low resolution and watermarked. Free previews are limited per day, and signing in gives you more. If you unlock the video, you can download the clean, full-length MP4 without a watermark, plus a WhatsApp sticker, a GIF, a transparent-background version and a green-screen version.

A video you have unlocked can also be re-rendered with AI, so the light and shadows match your background (5 seconds). The sticker page offers a pack of 6 animated WhatsApp stickers of the little man.

The dancer is always the same character. You only change the background; the Service does not put you or anyone else in his place.

2. AI-generated content

Everything the Service makes is AI-generated. The little man is a fictional character we created with AI. He is not a real person or an actor, he does not come from any film, and the Service is not connected with, endorsed by or sponsored by any film, studio or other rights holder.

When you share a video, sticker or GIF made with the Service, don't present it as real footage or as a clip from a real film. Where a platform asks you to mark AI-generated content, follow its rules.

3. The models we use

We made the little man and his moves in advance with these AI models, accessed through fal.ai (Features & Labels Inc.): GPT Image 2.5 by OpenAI (his look and starting poses), Kling 2.5 Turbo Pro by Kuaishou (his dance clips) and Kling 2.6 Motion Control by Kuaishou (the full-body and close-up shots of the Meme Dance, and the Hop).

Your preview and your clean files are made by placing those clips onto your background with ffmpeg on our own servers at Cloudflare; no AI model is used for that step. The AI re-render uses Seedance 1 Pro Fast by ByteDance, accessed through fal.ai. Uploaded backgrounds and the input and output of every AI re-render are checked by an image moderation model on fal.ai (fal-ai/x-ailab/nsfw).

4. Accounts

You don't need an account to make free previews. To buy or unlock anything, you sign in with Google or with a link we email you; one email address is one account, whichever way you sign in. Previews you made on the same device in the last 24 hours are added to your account when you sign in.

You must be at least 13 to use the Service. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend accounts used for abuse or fraud.

5. Credits, plans and payments

Unlocking a video, running an AI re-render and unlocking the sticker pack each use 1 credit. You get credits in three ways:

• Unlock this video ($7.90, paid once): 1 credit, used right away on the video, or the sticker pack, you bought it for.
• 10-video pack ($19.90, paid once): 10 credits. They expire 90 days after purchase.
• Pro ($19.90 a month): 30 credits for each monthly billing period. Credits you don't use in a period don't carry over to the next one. Pro is a recurring subscription: when you subscribe, you authorize Waffo Pancake, our merchant of record, to charge your payment method $19.90 at the start of every monthly period until you cancel. Cancel any time on your account page (“Cancel Pro”) or by emailing support@rumpelstiltskin-ai.com. Pro continues until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.

What a credit gets you: unlocking a video gives you all its formats (MP4, WhatsApp sticker, GIF, transparent background and green screen) to download for 30 days. An AI re-render, available only for a video you have unlocked, gives you a 5-second AI version as an MP4, a sticker and a GIF, kept for 30 days. The sticker pack stays unlocked on your account, and you can download it again from your account page.

A credit is given back automatically if an AI re-render fails, is blocked by our checks or takes too long, and if none of an unlocked video's formats can be made within an hour.

Prices are in US dollars and include tax. Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake, our merchant of record. Waffo Pancake is the seller of record for tax purposes and handles card details, receipts, refunds and chargebacks; we never see your card number. Purchases are contracts with Waffo Pancake as the seller of record and are also covered by its terms shown at checkout. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

6. What you upload

Only upload photos and videos that you took yourself or have the right to use. You keep every right you have in what you upload. In particular:

• Don't upload a photo or video that shows another person. The Service is for backgrounds: places, rooms, objects, pets, scenery, or yourself.
• Don't upload a photo or video that shows anyone under 18, including yourself if you are under 18.
• Don't upload anything listed in the acceptable use policy in section 7.

We use your uploads only to make your videos and to check them as described in section 7. We do not use them to train AI models. How long we keep them is in the Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use policy

You may not use the Service to upload, make, download or share any of the following:

1. Sexual content: nudity, sexual acts, or bodies or clothing shown in a sexualized way.
2. Violence and gore: realistic killing, torture, mutilation, blood or injury, or content that threatens or promotes violence or terrorism.
3. Hate: hate symbols, slurs, or content that attacks or demeans people because of race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
4. Child safety: anything that sexualizes, endangers or exploits anyone under 18, real or fictional, and any photo or video of a real person under 18.
5. Deepfakes and impersonation: images or videos of a real, identifiable person without their consent, or anything that passes a result off as real footage of a real person or event, or as someone else's work or identity.
6. Copyright and trademark infringement: photos, videos, film frames, characters, artwork, logos or trademarks you don't have the right to use.

You also may not attack, overload or scrape the Service, get around its limits (for example by automating free previews), or resell it.

How we check content

• Every uploaded background is checked by an automated image moderation model (the photo itself, or three frames from a video) while your preview is being made. Until the check is done you can watch the preview but can't unlock it. If it fails, the preview is taken down and it doesn't count toward your free previews.
• Before an AI re-render, the image sent to the AI model (your background with the little man in it) is checked, and frames of the result are checked before you see it. If either check fails, nothing is delivered and your credit is given back.
• If the check can't run, we don't let the video be unlocked or re-rendered until it can.
• The automated check looks mainly for nudity and sexual content. It can't catch everything, so the other categories above are handled through reports, which a person reviews.
• Every check is logged with the time, the video it belongs to, which check it was and the result, so decisions can be reviewed later.

Penalties

If content breaks this policy, depending on how serious it is and whether it happens again, we will delete the content and the files we store for it, remove the credits left on the account without a refund, cancel Pro, and suspend or permanently close the account. We may report child sexual abuse material and other unlawful content to the authorities.

How to report content

To report content you believe breaks this policy, email support@rumpelstiltskin-ai.com with “Report content” in the subject line. Include the link to the video if you have it, where you saw it and the date. A person reads every report, and we tell you what we did.

We can delete the files we store and act on the account that made them. A copy already posted on another site also needs to be reported to that site.

Review and appeals

If we acted on your account and you think it was a mistake, reply to our email within 14 days and a person will look at it again.

8. Sound

Every video the Service makes has no audio track, and the Service does not provide any music. To add the sound, use the music tools inside TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts when you post.

Those platforms license music for use with their own editors. That license does not cover a song you put into the file yourself before uploading, and doing that can get your video a copyright claim. You are responsible for any sound you add.

9. Your videos

We claim no rights in your backgrounds. The little man, his moves, the clips and the sticker pack are ours. When you unlock a video or the sticker pack, you may download it, keep it, and share or post it in chats and on social media.

You may not sell the clips, the character or the stickers on their own, use the little man as a logo or brand, or use our files to build a competing service. Free previews are watermarked and are only for trying the Service. Results can look similar for other users.

10. Copyright and takedown requests

If you own the rights to something you believe is used on the Service without permission, email support@rumpelstiltskin-ai.com with “Takedown” in the subject line. Include your name and contact details, what you own and proof that you own it, the link to the material or a clear description of it, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized.

A person reviews every request. If it is valid, we remove the material, tell the account that uploaded it, and apply the penalties in section 7 to accounts that infringe again. The same address handles any other legal notice.

11. What we can't promise

• We don't promise that the little man looks like any actor, any real person or any character you have seen elsewhere.
• We don't promise that his face and expression stay the same between moves, videos or AI re-renders. An AI re-render can make him look a little different.
• We don't promise that every attempt works the first time. A preview that fails doesn't count toward your free previews, and a failed AI re-render gives your credit back.

The Service is provided as is and as available. It may be slow or unavailable at times, and we may pause AI re-renders when demand or costs are high; downloads keep working. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Changes are posted on this page with a new date, and important changes are also emailed to account holders.

13. Disputes

If something goes wrong, email us first at support@rumpelstiltskin-ai.com; we will try to sort it out with you before anyone starts a formal proceeding. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live apply where they cannot be waived. Purchases are contracts with Waffo Pancake as the seller of record and are also covered by its terms shown at checkout.
